Default Window dropped, water leak and A/C fault

So, seem to have 3 problems all at once.

First the DEGASSING TANK has a crack in it and is leaking a small amount of coolant, so will go see the stealer tomorrow for a new one. Its an odd component stuck in the middle of the hose and I am not sure I have seen one before.

The window on the passenger side collapsed and pulling the door apart revealed a cr@p repair job carried out previously with the nylon runners being rebuilt with some sort of silly putty. Since ebay seems to offer only two parts for a 607, one being pretty valve caps and the other being replacement runners, or plastic clips, I have ordered the full runners (from Turkey of all places). I assume these break often? Probably should have ordered the drivers side too. The cables look fine, so hopefully an easy fix.

Lastly, the A/C stopped blowing cold, with the cost of replacing a single "O" ring in my Touareg coming in at $1200NZ (I could buy a 205 for that), am not looking forward to another A/C fix...

Does anyone have a repair manual for the 607? Or recommend where to buy one?

Will take some pictures as I sort out all three and post here

Hi mate, sorry to hear about your problems..

dont pay anyone for the repair manual on ebay or anywhere else as they are are waste of money..

Download the Peugeot Service Backup Sedre (any year) its the dealer system back and gives you access to all repair manual and wiring diagrams..

let me know if you need any help..

YES! Installed ok, but since it installs a WEB server on my laptop and I can get to get to it from any computer in the house.... I will buy a tiny PC (Old IBM) and set it up again as a permanent server. I can then use my MAC to view all the info, and could view it from anywhere on my iPhone Yes I am a bit of a geek.

Update on the repairs.

I pulled the door apart and rebuilt the rails and the electric windows now work.

The inline evaporation valve replacement arrived from France (they had a workers strike for 10 days and that slowed it down). Fitted it and the engine no longer smells like hot antifreeze!

The A/C fault wasn't a lack of puff in the system and I moved onto diagnostics of the electrical system. The fuses were OK and I couldn't find a fault so took it to the dealer, the clutch in the pump has failed. NZ$2,200 for a new one, a rebuilt one fitted for NZ$850... and I found a bloke who will pull it off he car, fit a new clutch, refit and pressurize for NZ$500 (about 200 pounds). Its summer here now and bloody hot, so Tuesday.

New issues found, one of the bearings in the timing belt path is failing (ticking noise), most likely the water pump. So I will replace the lot, pump and belt after Christmas.

Front brake pads need replacing, so anyone recommend a UK based seller (preferably with a web site and who ships internationally), as you would see from the above prices, buying locally isn't really an option.
