Default Washers packed in.

Washers just died on me. Tried the following -
Bellowed at the missus for not filling the bottle.
Filled the bottle..which wasn't empty
Checked fuses. All OK, although the 30A one in the book for the washer appears to have changed to a 10A one and a relay on this model.
I can hear a relay clicking but no pump noises, would I be correct in thinking the pump's simply died, or am I missing something?

Is it a DIY job, and if so, where do I start digging for the afforementioned dead beastie?

cheers
jim.

Ok yes it is.. The pump's to the rear of the drivers side wheel arch.
Jack up the car, no need to take off the wheel.
Remove the plastic wheel arch cover by taking out the 8 plastic clips.
Pull the pump out of the tank, it's only pushed in, and disconnect the cable and one pipe.
Fit a single outlet replacement from Ebay - 5 Mins job.
There are a lot of cheap double outlet ones on Ebay, but mine was the single.

If you're a tight git such as myself, pull the pump apart from it's motor.
Take the rubber washer from the motor end, clean the water induced gunk from under it.
Pack under the washer with silicon grease, and spin the motor on 12V on the bench for ten mins and then when it's nice and free again, re-fit it.
Wollar as we say in French
