Default Tyre pressure and ESP

Hi there,

Just bought a 2003 2.2 HDi S 607 and love it to bits - had an Omega previously and it was fast but uneconomical and unreliable, an old 405 1.9 GLD before that that I just loved. So, essentially, what I'm saying, is that I'm an old Pug owner who has returned to the fold.....

ANYWAY can anyone tell me what the tyre pressure is supposed to be? I can't find it in the manual - running the standard 225 / 45 / R16 tyres. Guesssed at 33 PSI but only guessing?

Also, the ESP / Active Skid (something) seems to fail when I go over 80mph and re-sets itself when the engine is re-started, is this normal?

Many thanks

alright Dr. Jones, welcome to the forum..

glad you are happy with your 607. You are lucky that these problems are nothing to worry about..

the tyre pressure should be 2.3 on both front and rear - 2.5 on both front and rear if the load is heavy.

ASR/ESP thing is only a sensor that you need to replace.. nothing major..

what mileage has your motor done..
