hi all, I have just carried out a service and reset the service indicator.
Previously when I reset the service indicator, it used to reset to 12000 miles however this time its only gone to 9250 miles? I have tried resetting it but it service indicator only reset to 9250 miles. any ideas

I believe the cars computer works out the optimum time for the next service, taking into account how the car is driven.
Most of my driving is on the motorway - so the service interval shows up as something silly like 17,500 til next oil change - which obviously is tat. |

Mark, you are a star. Absolute spot on, I managed to change the interval to normal and it is givin me the full 12k interval. Don't understand how I messed it anyhow all good now.
