Question Service Indicator interval after reset

hi all, I have just carried out a service and reset the service indicator.

Previously when I reset the service indicator, it used to reset to 12000 miles however this time its only gone to 9250 miles? I have tried resetting it but it service indicator only reset to 9250 miles.

any ideas

I believe the cars computer works out the optimum time for the next service, taking into account how the car is driven.

Most of my driving is on the motorway - so the service interval shows up as something silly like 17,500 til next oil change - which obviously is tat.

That's because your cars service interval is set to arduous condition and nothing to do with you messing about with it..

You can change it by going into Planet>BSI>Maintenance>Draining and then finally set interval to normal which will change it to 12500 miles

Let me know if you need help
