Default Security system

Just tried to get into my 607 which has been off the road for 6 months the key wont work. I assume that the security system has shut down due to a flat battery. The manual is inside! Any ideas on how to get in?

thanks

Isn't there a key hole in drivers door handle.

Default Re Security system

Hi Cab,

Indeed and I've tried to turn the key in the lock but it wouldn't move. I suspect that the lock may be stiff. I'll spray some WD40 in it and leave it for a while and try again.

thanks

Hi John & Cab,

Thanks for your suggestions but a spray of WD40 and a bit of a wait combine with more torque than I would normally be happy with and the ock is open. It now locks and unlocks easily so I suspect that either muck or rust was the problem. battwrey now on charge so I hope the electronic key can be used again.

thanks

Kevin
