Default Sat Nav Problems - 02 plate 607

Hi, I'm posting this on behalf of my father in law. The sat nav seems to be picking up that his current location is around 100 miles from where he actually is. We have re-installed the system disk, but the problem still persists. It is unusable in its current state.

Can't really understand why this is, the current location is presumably picked up by the GPS??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi
You shouldn't have to remove the headlining, only the light unit at the back or pull down headlining slightly to see the nut holding the antenna module

How many visible satellites is it showing ?

I had the same problem, change antenna with garmin's one.

GPS antenna modules were the same so it is the same as getting antenna from dealler, but just spending 20$ + work.
If you need photos of GPS module, I can post them
