RT3 Sat Nav

I have just updated the Sat Nav on my RT3 by using the system software from gpsunderground.com and all went smoothly and it can now use the 2010/2011 maps

I followed these steps...
1) Switch the power on
2) Hold down the MENU button until you get the extended menu
3) Select DEVICE DESCRIPTION
4) The software version will then appear

I have 6.63 but latest dvd doesnt work. Can I ask what version of software you have?

I have 6.63, when you say the latest maps is that 2010/2011 or 2011/2012?

I have tried a few dvds - do you think that the dvd is the problem and not the car?

My dealer did say that there is an update that would allow the cd to read text from audio cds. Im not sure if this is related, but I always assumed that Im not on the latest version.

Are the map discs ones that you are writing?

I burnt 2010 on to CD x 10 speed. It works however to
Er glass shows longer when zooming in and out

I'll have to check my firmware version.

Hi

The software 6.63 is the latest software in the RT3 systems.
That software works fine with 2011-2012 maps but maps has to be burn on CD NOT DVD. The Best CD is the verbatim for that purpose, burned at lower speed x4 if possible.
