Default RT3 in 607

Hiya, I am doubtful of getting a positive answer to my question but just in case here goes and thanks for looking.
I've got the RT3 system and I want to be able to input postcode to the satnav. Have they got an upgrade so I can join the 21st century??!!!

Hi Steve

Your right to Doubt! There is no way of imputing postcodes into this system. Just the labourious task of town, street, number.

Or just buy a TomTom

I've got one of the first Tom Tom 300's sold at £495(now about £80) about 4 years ago I think and I must say that its still better than the Navteq, its quite annoying on a top of the range car, still, its not a bad motor, couple of electrical probs but I've had 58 to the gallon on a very boring run. Had to sell my V6 merc(rock hard) cos of the petrol, heavy old beast, cheers anyway.

Steve, have you tried entering the postcode on the "City" field..

mine works fine..

if not then you need to update your map CD..

No joy on that option. I may update the maps to see if it will offer postcode input but I could buy a new TomTom for that price. Its a shame that I cant play with my boytoy!! Fancy having a state of the art large screen and no postcode option, am I asking too much.

You are not asking too much and I agree such a fancy big screen and TMS and postcode search is disabled as Peugeot don't have an agreement with them..

Sometimes I think that Copilot on my phone is far superior than whaf we have on the car..

Hi Scot, very sorry for the late reply. I can see videos on the move only because i have a faulty O/S/R ABS sensor. Also the Sat Nav & ESP isnt working because of this fault. I also know its faulty because in this 'snowy' weather the ABS isnt working as it should

I will unfortunatly have to get it fixed quite soon
