holding back

thanks to every 1 that helped me with my fap cleaned it and all working well. but still it fills like its holding back beteen 1000 and 2000 revs if i only put my foot down a bit it fills like it holds back for about 1/2 secs then goes then i will be going about 20/30 mph with my foot only on the gas a bit it goes then holds back then goes but if i drive it hard its ok dont hold back at all. i have just changed oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, cleaned fap filter (all faults have now cleared after fap cleaned) its done 48000 its a 2.0 hdi on a 04 plate. thanks for any help this site has helped and saved me a lot

Could be egr valve playing up...egr faults don't always bring on the eml..

well done mate.. did you have to top up the liquid.. how did you clean the filter??

did not top up fluid just cleaned it at a petrol station with the jet wash and soaked it in tfr cleaner for 24 hours was spot-less when done thanks for help. what is the egr is there any way to test it if so where abouts is it and what dose it look like thanks
