Angry Find a good garage!?

I got a diagnostics done by Kwit fit on my 607 2.2l manual diesel 2005 with their latest Bosh and there is the result:

1 central electronic system(1 fault)
brake control unit ( ESP faulty)
driver doors control unit ( 2 fault)
Tyre control system ( 4 fault_)
yaw rate sensor plausibilty

But worse is the engine management light still on at start up ,then disappear ;and I plan also to replace the cam belt!!!

Where to find a good garage ?? to fix all that at reasonable cost as Kwit fit offered to change the belt for £350 but admitted not being capable to fix electronics faults.

Live in Coseley, bilston, wv14

Default dont do it.

you can get a lot better deals than that..... £350 the diiiiiiiiiiiirrrrty robbbbbbbbbing b******
ive just had my water pump changed, you have to get a new cam belt kit to do it, (i would advise you to change water pump bout £25, i only changed cam belt 10 months ago and i didnt pay no where near that.

You know what'd be useful on this forum, a good garages section.

You know, where you advise people on the best garages around based on first hand experience? I love this idea, I think I may put it in the suggestion box

Anyway, HiQ tend to be reasonably priced. There must be one around you. Can you not just google "car mechanics in bilston" and then do what I do:

I get some paper, draw a 3 columned table in rough.

In the left column write the name and numbers of the garages. Then in the middle column write the services they will include and in the right hand side write the price.

that's how I got my clutch done. I compared about 9 places. Got price ranges from £400 clutch labour to £120... Beat that.

I totally share your idea for a sort of "GOOD GARAGE SCHEME" for 607 on this forum!
Found few garages in Bilston so called Peugeot specialist but that could barely do a proper diagnostics!
I don't want my 607 to be guinea pig for amateur mechanics around me neither!!!
So I wouldn't mind travelling if necessary as long as it done by expert hand at reasonable cost.

Just can't wait to get a list of "5 stars" 607 garage service around the country with specialities ( cuisine!!!!)
Isn't it time to reward good garages that provide excellent service at no head-hunters price?
