Is there anyone who would have any suggestions as to why my n/s front dipped xenon headlight does not come on, on my 607
I have swapped the bulb with the o/s and the bulb works fine. I have looked in the handbook and there is no mention of a fuse or anything. Do these things work using a relay or starter or something like that? I would appreciate any help Thank you Dave. Last edited by Dave Kirk; 01-08-2012 at 05:47 PM. |

Thanks Mate, If the ballast is the square silver looking box thing that clips on the back of the bulb, I took it off and tred it on the o/s and that light came on ok so I think it is alright.
I wondered what the other unit in between the two bulbs was, and like an idiot I twisted it off only to hear a clip or something fall into the headlight. It was the correction unit which although goes in and out will not fit back in the slot on the alloy part of the xenon casting that pulls it back when you first turn the lights on. any idea if this is a part that can be bought. I have a bit of foam jamming it up at the moment so at least the bain beam is about the right hight. Many Thanks for your help. Kind Regards Dave |
