Can anyone shed light on the common factor here for 607, 2002 model?
1. Boot lights do not operate (upper and lower). 2. Reversing light on driver side does not operate. (Passenger side is ok.) 3. Fog light on driver side does not operate. (passenger side is ok) Before I disassemble the whole boot lining to trace out the wiring and earth points, does anyone have a better idea? I have looked at the wiring under the boot lid and noted the common cable form for fog and reversing lights; separate cable forms for driver and pasenger sides. Handbook is not much help but I checked all fuses anyway. Which fuse controls the boot lights? Which fuse controls the reversing lights? Fuse 24 (fog lights) is ok. Besides only one fog light is not operating. All globes are ok. 15/11 Update Yes, I ripped out the boot liners. Partially resolved it. The Fog and Reversing lights fault was due a wiring harness intermitent problem in the boot lid. Auto electrician assisted for a reasonable fee (AUD60) Boot lights not yet resolved. A friendly Peugeot Service manager hinted it could a microswitch associated with the boot latch ie light control doesn't know the boot is open. Or it could be the associated BSI control which would be very expensive to replace. A cheap LED Torch is looking like a compromise solution. Last edited by meo850; 11-15-2011 at 09:58 AM.
