Cold Arse!

Hi everyone, for some strange reason, my driver's heated seat has stopped working. Manual says, it's in tandem with the N/S rear heated seat, well that's working fine, as are the others. My electrician said the base of the seat (heater element) must have broken and just ''stopped working''. But i had a thought; this really can't be true because the backrest has also stopped working. Does anyone know if there is a separate relay for the seat?
Grovelled under the seat and the connections are fine. Also a live feed is present at the switch, but nothing comes out? This is the same as the passenger side, but that works okay.
If you have any ideas, my arse would like to know

I have exactly thae same problem on my 02 car. Like you the rear seats work perfectly well and both the base and back on mine have stopped. When you find out the problem please post it.
