Question cigarette lighter !!

Hi folks, I have noticed the rear cigarette lighter is not working.. on initial investigation Fuse no. 7 is fine.. it got dark will investigate further but just wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this?

What would be wrong if the fuse is ok? please direct me so I dont waste fiddling with something else.. lol

do you have a multimeter to check to see if voltage is getting through?

also probably one of the connectors on the back have dropped off...more than likely just spade connectors.

When we bought my wife's 307 SW at auction the roof blind didn't work. I contacted the previous owner who told me that her kids had been using the cigarlighter sockets for games machines and blew the fuses and the blind hadn't worked since. They told me that their garage quoted them £160 to replace some unit ???. Needless to say I never bothered persuing it , then a few weeks ago I had to check the fuses and replaced the blown ones and the blind suddenly worked again. So check twice .

OK Granny and egg sucking may be involved but you do have the ignition on and the drivers door button in the right mode?

I scratched my head for a bit over that one.
