Default Car veers to the right when accelerating...

And dips back to the left when you take your foot off the throttle. A bit disconcerting especially at motorway speeds.

Had a full four wheel alignment done not long ago, any suggestions?

Get it done again, somewhere else.
Check the suspension first!

When you say 'check the suspension', can you be a bit more specific.

Thanks...

he means check coil springs to see if there a bit broken off and check for play in the strut top bearings (needs jacking up)

Thanks.

The strut top bearings were replaced about a year ago.
I've just had the near side front bottom ball joint replaced; could that have 'caused' the problem?

Imperial Tyres in Swindon have just diagnosed the problem as being worn bushes in the NSF lower wishbone. I can thoroughly recommend them.
