607 Wont Start

Hi
My 607 will not start most of the time, the Immobiliser light in the console flashes very quickly when the Ignition is Turned, once in a while the light wont flash and the car will start but only run for about 3 minutes then it stops and the light flashes again, all other electrics work correctly
Is this an immobiliser fault or the Transponder in the key
Any ideas any one

Could also be a comm 2000 fault ,you need it on Diagnostics.
