Sounds like a nacked window regulator. Not the first i've heard of on a 607.

You need to remove the door card, though alas, I don't knoiw the procedure on a 607.

Adam did you manage to get it mate??

if not, dont worry, its easy..

first take the wee plastic trim off the pull handle, then take the door switch off..

then take the door card off...

now the tricky bit is taking the rivet off from the black plastic door pull.. you would need to drill this out.. once this is off, it give you access to the screw for the regulator on the top. The one on the bottom is easily accesible..

its a common fault as water gets into the regulater cable, siezes it and the collapses.. the regular is fine but the cable breaks which cant be replaced so its gonna have to be a whole replacement part..

let me know if you need any help..

Hi Guys,
Have the same problem on my 607. Peugeot want £300 for repair and say the regulator is £200. I have looked on ebay and it seems that pattern parts are available from Germany or Turkey for £35-£50 does anyone know if these parts are reliable.
Thanks

I would just prefer to buy new rather than from a breakers thats all. Once I've got the parts is it a difficult job to do?
