607 - resetting the mobile phone software

Still having problems with my 607's in-built mobile phone. Does anybody know how to reset the mobile phone software?
The main problem is that no matter what simcard I put there, I always get the message "simcard not inserted"...

there is no software upgrade for it mate.. only thing you can do is disconnecting the battery for 10 mins.. (only take the negative terminal off..) you will find that once you have connected it back, the phone language defaults to french, you can then change it back to English, see if that helps..
