Default A 607 mmmmm?

Seen a lovely 54 Reg 607 125k miles exec model with all the toys. Seriously thinking about this as a possible purchase. Is there anything I should watch out for on this model? Being a current owner of a 407 im loathed to change but it looks fab.

I have owned one for a week, I like it. Would be interested in a comparison to the 407.... You better take it for a drive...

It's a bit like driving a transit van after a 407.. albeit one with decent seats loads of comfort and more bells n whistles than you can shake a stick at.
I tried a 407 and didn't care for the plastic interior and stiff seats, the 407 was a huge disapointment after my last two 406s.
I settled on a 2.2 diesel 607.
(Both me n the missus are still in love with it)

Yeh..you're right, I didn't mean exactly like a transit
You probably can't carry ladders on top and all your plumbing gear in the back, although come to think of it, there is room for two dead bodies in the boot.

I was talking about my own impressions after a 407.
It's bigger, heavier, roomier (you aren't rubbing shoulders with your passenger) and the interior isn't made of recycled yogurt cartons. [Jees I've got to stop watching Clarkson]

The dream is over the cheeky car dealer said my car was only worth £1500 dependant on condition, Anyone who knows anything the 407 on a 54 plate is selling for around £2700 - £3000 his 607 was a 54 plate 12 months mot grey fully loaded with sat nav manual and he was selling at £2995 i offered him my car and £300 he said "sorry your cars only worth....." B*ll*x Anyway gonna keep the 407 it would seem having the cambelt done next week.
I reckon I could get at least one dead body in my boot 2 at a squeeze

At three grand for an 04 manual (You don't say which model) even with that milleage, It sounds like he doesn't have a lot of leaway.
Why not Ebay the 407 and get what it's really worth?
Did you get a test drive in the 607??

I only got 700 for my last 406 on that kind of dealer rip-off, I spotted it on Ebay next day stood on a driveway looking JUST like a private sale for double.
It never looked that clean when I had it though, and the faulty drivers window had gone from completely dead to an intermittant fault that was 'probably' just the switch

I suggest a good spot for dumping all these bodies is round the back of this dealers place

mate, tbh I wouldnt buy a manual.. go for the auto one..

afa your car is concerned, sell it privately (if you can be arsed) if not then try another dealer.. 607s are going dead cheap these days.. if it wasnt for the tax and insurance, I'd buy two.. lol..
