Ok, i've no manual or literature of any kind for my 607. Haynes dont even do a manual goddamit!!
So i was wondering how do i adjust the handbrake? At the minute i have to pull the lever right up to near the top of its travel to stop the "barge" rolling away on hills. Any help greatly appreciated. |

jack up both wheels.. put the handbrake down and rotate the wheels.. if they move freely, its all good.. now pull the hand brake 4 clicks and adjust the drum screw (which is inside the disc) you can do this with a screw and access it when you take the plastic cap off.. i do it after taking the alloy off, its easier... keep adjusting it until you can feel a bit of friction when moving the wheel with your hand.. repeat on the other side and thats you.. all done.. in most cases, that kinda thing happens when the brake cable on the left and right need replacing..
