Question 607 2.2 diesel auto poor mpg
can anyone help my 607 is only getting 24mpg this is according to the computer but even going by the gauge it seems to be very thirsty would welcome any help or tips

What type of driving, i.e. town or country?
When was it last serviced?
Looking at the specs, I would only expect to get 30-35mpg combined at best

Default 607 mpg
just been serviced on a 40mile run on a roads the computer gave an average of 23mpg I was expecting better had a rover 75 auto diesel it was getting 45+ anyway thanks for your interest

I would expect more than 23mpg on an A road run too. Doubt you will get to the levels of the Rover though I'm afraid.

Get it on a good diagnostics and check % load of the DPF .

would this not show up as a warning on the dash?

Only if its blocked , but at the minute it could be becoming blocked , what mileage you got?
