[607] Parking sensors fault

Hi

Thanks in advance for any help.

As the title says the reverse parking sensors on my Peugeot 2.2 Hdi 2002 are faulty. When I put it in reverse all I can hear is a 3 sec beep and then nothing.

The sensors were not working when I bought the car. Also one of the reverse lights were faulty due to two cables in the boot being cut. The guy who fixed the reverse light said the sensors would probably need re-programming but i think it may have something to do with that faulty light.

Also the car is fitted with a tow bar and I've heard it may have something to do with the fault.

I can hear the clicking sound from all the 4 sensors so they are probably working .

Can anyone advise me how to fix them ??
