I have a medium wheelbase high top boxer motorhome with the 2.0HDI and that averages around 33 to a gallon. So looks like you have a issue somewhere.

My wifes old Zsara 1.9 turbo used to average at least 50 to a gallon, I would have thought yours should be in that area.
