Question Tyre Pressure Sensors

Hi all, I have a 407 2.2 diesel gt, and have just recently had a new front tyre fitted, and now not long after start up I get the warning of tyre pressure low, does anyone how to fix this?

Yes, check your tyre pressure

Tyre fitters very rarely put the correct pressures in them, especially as the 407 has fairly high pressures.

It could also mean they broke the sensor, but I would be manually checking the pressure first

Default Tyre Pressure

Hi jmkent

Thanks for the reply, do you know what the recommended tyre pressure is for these?

Assuming the 2.2 is the same as the 2.0, and you have 215/55/17 tyres on it, then 2.6bar front and rear (2.8bar rear if loaded).

There should be a little sticker on the door pillar.

thanks for the responses, I have done as said and put a little more pressure in all the tyres so even, and warning light is no longer on.

Yes they can be switched off using PP.
You need to have a look on this map and contact whoever is nearest to you.
