Came to start her up this morning, boom, injector seal wailing like a banshee!
Although, to be fair, it was expected and it was entirely my own fault! I fitted new seals when I fitted the new engine, but when it came to removing those injectors and putting my old ones back in, I couldn't source the seals so I proceeded anyway! Typical though really, the one day where I'm running late and have various important tasks to sort out at work! Ah well, easy job at least! Phil |

Injector was thankfully pretty easy to remove considering the state of it.
It was disgusting, considering it had only been in a few thousand miles, must of had a shitty seal from day one. http://philstorage.info/pictures/20111020_194156.jpg <- That seat is supposed to be clean!! http://philstorage.info/pictures/20111020_194132.jpg <- Injector is crudded up quite badly http://philstorage.info/pictures/20111020_214553.jpg <- Bottom of the Seal http://philstorage.info/pictures/20111020_214837.jpg <- Top of the Seal Phil |
