Good independent 407 mechanic sought in Berkshire

Can anybody help? I purchased a 407 1.6 HDI in 2010 with 178k miles on the clock. Within a short space of time I had to have the engine and turbo replaced. Still the car is suffering from a lack of turbo boost, with the turbo being covered in soot after an intermediate journey. The car has had a new FAP filter fitted. My local Peugeot garage says the only solution is to take out the engine etc, and inspect the injectors, perform compression tests and look at the timing (this conclusion was after 17 hours of investigatory work!).
Can anybody recommend a good independent mechanic in the Berkshire area who would be interested in undertaking this?
