Hi all, want to know your DAM number? It will tell you when and where your car was built. This is more accurate than your VIN number. Go to Peugeotlogic.com
You will find a "how to guide" to find the DAM number and calculator download to decode it to a date. It says it also pinpoints the plant where it was built (the letters at the end of the number) but would only take the numbers. It cant be too hard to find the plant with these letters, I'm looking. sorry Leo just found your post. My car was built on a Friday at cj too, in September 2004. Haven't found out yet the plant for cj but if it was Rennes that solves my puzzle as tried in vain to de cypher the letters.
