2007 407 SW Swan Neck

Hi All,

I have just bought myself a 2007 407SW Deisel. Lovely car - well pleased with it.

One tiny problem - theer is a socket for a towbar and the electrics but the towbar itself is nowhere to be found I want to buy one. I have tried several websites and none of them seem to stock it. Does anyone know of a stockist, part number and an idea of what I can expect to pay?

someone else had this problem a couple of years ago and i dont think you can buy the towbar separately other than dealers

Depends if it was original, and therefore a dealer one anyhow.

I had difficulty trying to track down the make of the one on my car - same situation as you, just needed the ball part. Not many manufacturers are that keen to sell a part - something to do with being tested as a unit, etc. I did manage to track down the manufacturer of mine (with some help on the forum) who would sell the part, but as there were no labels etc they could only base the decision on measurements.
