Hello to all.
Ok this has problem been asked a 100 times before but hear goes. I'm looking for things to do to my hdi 90 I know I can chip\remap it andim already looking into this but can I. Fit a intercooler Decat\ change the hole exhaust from the turbo. Mine is falling apart at the back but I want something that looks better. I know I can change the filter and this is on the cards for next month. Any halp and advice will be grate seen as this is my first hdi and first diesel. |

all i can say is to check the new mot laws coming in before altering anything plus the insurance , as you can tell i am not in favour of to much change but i am sure there will be many replies that are the compleat opposite.

I'm guessing the 406 isn't a popular car (on here) for modding, hence lack of replies. It's usually the 206, 306, 307 and 407.

Probably the best thing and in the long run the cheapest would be to get the 110 hp motor from a breaker. You must tell DVLA and your insurance co. Should have the extra power without ant reliability problems.

best thing to do is get a more powerful car as the other posts say check insurance because if any happens and u have it modified and dont tell them your not insured..best leave well alone.i had my vectra chipped from 150bhp to 206bhp and wrecked the engine turbo and fly wheel at a cost of over 2000 pounds worth of parts and that wasnt even fitting the parts!!!
