on pug Service box for my vin number it says I have variable power steering,
anyone know what this is and what difference is there in how the steering works or feels ? I have read thro the manual of the service box but says nothing .

it adjusts the amount of power steering "assistance", so at low speed, like when parking, the steering wheel will be easiest to turn. but at high speeds it will reduce the "assistance" to make the steering wheel harder to turn and thus increase the control precision.
