hi can you help.would changing the throttle control sensor solve the high revs.i have fitted new idle control valve and it is still high revs sometimes.i have cleaned all the pipes and now im stuck.please advise me tec guys.

Turn off ignition. Turn on ignition for ten seconds. Turn off for ten seconds. Do this a few times. This should learn the idle control stepper motor.

Have you an air leak?
I've never had a throttle position sensor failure.
