Question still reving high.HELP PLEASE

hi ive got a 406 s reg 18cc.ive replaced the idle control and the throttle control and the reving still happens.is there anyone on this site that could tell me what the problem is im at a loose end now and its doing my head in.the last owner told me the problem started when they had the clutch change.i just cant work it out.please tec guys can you help me.its not an air leak because it is not all the time its intermittent..

have you Scan your Engine ECU?

if not:

Peugeot Planet Map

look who is closest to you, and contact them to arrange someone with PP2000(diagnostic tool) to look into your car's ECU, if there is any faults.

Most problems like this like after you have fixed all mech stuff, most of the time is problem with car's ecu

sorry i couldn't be any more help, hopefully someone else will have better answer than me
