2001 406 2.0 HDi 90 hydraulic clutch.
I get a loud click from the area of the release lever when I depress the clutch pedal fully. This is a 10 year old car. So I don't want to spend a lot of money. What is happening? And what would be a cost effective repair? Thanks, Kevin. |

If you mean the release lever on the gearbox end, then it probably means your clutch release bearing is wearing through the clutch cover. = new clutch.
if you're talking pedal endit's best to just get atorch and look up under the pedal as you press it to see exactly where it's making a noise. |
