Remote Key Problem that's really wierd!!!

Hi All

My Remote locking stopped working a week ago and because my remote key was buggered I got a couple of spares off e-bay.

I have PP2000 so I re programmed them and Key 1 started operating the remote locking but key 2 didn't work.

I swapped the order and re programmed again and this time key 1 (which was key 2 the first time) worked and key 2 (previously key 1) stopped operating the remote locking. Both keys start the car.

When I got the car it had 1 working remote key and on non remote key.

It seems bith keys will operate the remote locking but only one at a time (I can't get them both to work)

Does anyone have any idea's what I can do to get both to operate the remote locking?

I really could use some advice on this as it is making me rip out my hair and I don't have much left!

hi,

might be a limit on how many keys can be paired to the car for remote...davidireland and few others might be able to confirm this or not.

mmm, do you know if there is a way to check how many keys are set up using pp2000, or even to clear the memory and start again?
