Default Post Heat Relay / Glow Plugs fault diagnosed

Hello,

I have a 2001 hdi 90 estate (Multi Plexed).
I have the following issue, EML light on and goes into limp mode

Taken car into Peugeot for diags, was told the error is
Permanent fault with post heating relay and glow plugs

I have replaced relay with a new one, still get eml and limp mode.

Have checked wiring from relay to glow plugs, checks ok

Checked voltage at glow plugs on startup - 6volts

Check relay voltage to glow plugs - 6 volts

Other main connection on relays is 12 volts

What do I check next

Any advice welcome

Paul.

Did you see fault codes or get a copy?

Heater plug faults will not put the engine management light on in the 406.
What are the faults?

Hi

On the report given to me by Peugeot it just says

Permanent fault with post heating relay and glow plugs

He did say the was an intermitent fault on reversing lights but he cleared that.
The report doesn't say what the code was.
