I need to remove a Philips 4050 radio from a 406 to get at the serial number. Most radios I'm familiar with use a two pronged tool either side to remove the radio. This model only seems to have one slot either side. Is this right or am I missing some hidden slots? Can anyone advise how I go about removing this model of radio as when I try only using the two slots that I can see the bottom of the radio still stays pinned in. Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with model numbers, but when I needed to remove my stereo, I used a couple of this headed screwdrivers to slide down the two holes to release it
I also believe people also use bamboo skewers |
