My P406c 2.2 HDI ECU has died. If I will buy new ecu (same year, same model) from other 2.2HDI pug can I make new ecu work in my car with peugeot planet?

What happened to it? What are symptoms?

Yes you can if its the Ecu.

If you swap the Ecu, Bsi And key fob it will work like it did before no need for PP.
I can have a look in my stock list for the kit all i need is the numbers on your engine Ecu i.e. bosch starts 0265 or 0281, siemens 5ws, magneti marelli IAW, And I can send you one for £165 delivered.

The engine ecu and the BSI are matched together. Using a different engine ecu with a different BSI will not work, that is only if the IMMO is turned off.
