V Reg 2000. Have recently purchased this car and whish I had not on the way home the Engine Diagnotic light came on the dash no codes. also sometimes tickover is faster than normal other times its fine. Sometines the speedomiter stops working car running fine. In the paperwork given with the car the Accelerator Potension Metre unit Was replaced last October. My friend got a reader and the code we have now is Accelerator engine speed sensor B. Aso we get a message saying brake fluid low in fact its full to the brim. I replaced a 19 year old Audi A6 for this car and really really regretting what I have done. Is this car going to be a money pot.

did you get it from a dealer? If not, it could set you back a little, but I'd think it'd be a nice car if you sorted these little niggly bits.

I am unemployed and changed my car in order to save money my old Audi 100E (A6) Avant 1992 is Petrol 2.8 V6 Avant so needed a Diesel. I have always known that Pugeot Diesel engines are good. Purchased privately, Did check out the general things that you do ie cambelt was changed (this was done Last October) Paperwork, MOT. Have Paperwork of things done it drove well body in good condition only a few rusty spots comming out a very clean car for its age.

The brake fluid does not go down and its up to the brim every time I look at it so fluid is ok. Handbreak is not so good needs doing.

Would you know what this code is saying what Item needs to be replaced or are there so many sensors that it is going to be replacing more than one thing to sort out the problem.?
