Ok my 406 3.0 exec supposedly has electric folding mirrors,I know there are motors in there because i caught one and it folded itself back out. heres my switch
![]() It states in the manual to rotate the dial down to the white dot at the bottom. For the life of me i cannot get it to go any further than the dot left and right. so apparently i need the dial facing down. Is there some top secret method to this or am i being stupid and should be doing something else Please help me this car is driving me insane |

On the 407, you pull the switch backwards towards that dot. Does the dial move backwards at all?

You're right dot on dial is turned to the dot at the bottom for mirrors to fold there is some resistance when turning.

Maybe the switch inside was broken so pervious owner changed it to one that doesnt allow folding mirrors?

you just turn the switch round to meet the rear dot, be warned it feels as if the switch is going to snap but does turn eventually
![]() If you try it and the switch actually snaps its not my fault ![]() ![]()
