faulty bsi on hdi 90 406,matter of just replaceing it?

ok iv been told my bsi (built in interface) is now faulty

is it just matter of getting new bsi outa breaker yard?

or do i need a matching bsi+ecu+key barrel or what?

help appriciated as new car back on road asap

From what i've read, I believe you need the matching set
