Default Engine trouble?

I have a Peugeot 406 estate wagon from 2001 and the engine is not running like it should. It started with engine stops during trips. It happened at a stop sign or when I was just driving on the free way. There was no problem starting the car again after I put the ignition to off and back on again. These stops more or less disapeared after my Peugeot dealer replaced a rpm sensor on the crank shaft but now my engine is kind of rocking while I´m driving. It feels like it does not ignite at time to time but It still runs.
I can´t hear this and the engine works perfectly on idle but I can feel it when I´m running up a hill. It feels like an old carburator car when cold and running on the choke.

Does anyone recognize this problem?

I am speculating If there is eather a ignition problem or a fuel problem related to water or the emergency fuel shut off valve.

Yes a camshaft drive belt replacement but the truoble was there before and after. Trouble is, my Peugeot dealer can´t see on any maintenance download that there should be and fault.

No he did not. Manly because I would like to do a little research of my own If this is a known problem to avoid excessive maintenance costs. Maintence here in Sweden is very expensive at authorized Peugeot dealers.

Ok, thanks for the help! Btw, is there anywere on the web were I can find a wiring diagram for the 406 on the internet? I´ve done some eletrical trouble shooting before so I think I can figure this one out if there is no maintenance data reader involved.
