crank oil leak

I have a 2.0hdi 406,when I changed the t belt I also did the crank seal,big mistake

I have since changed the seal twice and the oil leak is worst than ever is it possible that the leak is from the oil pump drive ?

The original seal might just have been nicely bedded in! Still have it?

Did you fit it with the little plastic piece that came with the seal. It holds the seal in place while you fit it and stops it turning inside out.
