Default bsi fuses

hi again peeps how many fuses are on the bsi unit i can only see 6 on the front on mine is there more on the backagain any help is good

hi thanx again there david was hoping there was sum on the back
just cant get this fuel gauge to work tried the lot put pp on and done test on gauge and it moves on that so dont think theres a break in the instrum/panel
i'll just have to keep her topped up with derv

Hi john is that the sender unit in the tank u mean??? if so i had it out and cleaned it didnt find any breaks in it.ive no hair left waitin on it growin back then try next w/end.lol

no john i followed wat wires that came from the sender unit til the diagnostic socket couldnt follow it from there then seen it in the relay box and engine fuse box where i put a multimeter on and got 6v but nothin at the fuel sender
unit?so theres a break somewhere mate need to find a good cheap auto spark
as ive no funds left feckin no job

yeah it sounds as tho a wire has snapped somewhere if your not getting any voltage at the sender side of things...you can confirm this by checking the resistance aswell. the sparky is going to cost a fair bit aswell. mind you, you maybe able to do it yourself by getting the car up and finding out where the wires are and following it.

yeah mate im still learning the multimeter not too sure how to use it right
will i have to take out front seat to lift carpet?i dont think it goes into bsi unit
(prays)i cud only see it goin to diag socket then to engine bay till 2
boxes?

fair enough to check resistance turn your dial to the Omega symbol which is best described as a O with the bottom opened up like a door. if you get 0.05 thats good but if you get like 1000 means its fecked.

not sure on where the wires trail so i cant comment...maybe david will help you here.
