Hi frankie,
I have never done an engine/bsi download with pp2000 and don't plan to...
You can re-configure your bsi by selecting manual configuration but this can be chancy....also record before you change anything....
it's a good idea to print out your bsi configuration incase (for some reason)
it's lost at some stage.
in our case was something very silly, we got bored and tried to download new version bsi on mates 206, then he got really bored so he took the cable out. exactly same faults happened, Wipers on constantly, headlights always on, no fan, no Air con. pretty much car was going mental. but it would start in our case and engine was running no problem. so we sat down and download older version BSI, then new version. then Auto configure it. walahh, everything in tip top working condition.
hi sully
every time we have had a problem like this it is normally
the connectors underneath the carpet on drivers front side
water normally gets in and corrodes the wiring
cheers kev
i have been told my bsi is faulty, the windows will not work aswell as the remote door locks and the lock button on the dash does nothing either. the red led on this button keeps flashing quickly ive been told the imobilser isnt turning off because the car wont recognise the key! also the car will not start. how can i solve this problem or does anyone know who can repair it for me,thanks
I was meaning he can recode his keys , you can`t download with pp unless you have full dealer access Frankie.
