Default 406 leaking Fuel

Hi
I have just bought a Peugeot 406 HDI 2.0 Estate 02 plate with 120k on the clock
i have had it for a week and driven it on the motorway on long runs and it seems fine but the other day i noticed tiny drops of oil on the floor which looks to be coming from the front of the engine. So i flipped the bonnet and took off the engine cover and noticed pools of diesel in wells on top of the engine near the injector pipes. I stupidly forgot to look at the engine when i bought it and now i am really worried it is serious.
is this a common problem on the HDI engines and if i need a new fuel injector kit is it expensive to fit?
thanks

Its probably coming from the injector leak off piping. Clean it all off first and test it. It should be pretty obvious.

Default arrrgh

ok i cleaned up the top of the engine and gave it a run and the diesel came back. It is not coming off the top of the injectors its more like the base as they screw into the engine. Lets just say my injectors are buggered and i need new ones to fit.. I have seen used ones on ebay cheap but how much is it to fit?
i just need a rough idea (ive not told the missus yet )

isnt there "O" rings as such that make the seal...your injectors might be fine, just need to replace those.

but if it is, they are quite a bit and may need coding to the car...

Default Could be good news

ok so i decided to bite the bullet and take it to my local garage.
He had a look at it and told me it defineitely the injectors leaking so he has tightened them up and taken the car for a run and all seems nice and dry.
(o rings could be knakered) but thats all he could do due to not being a diesel specialist and did not charge me so fingers crossed
He did recommend a Diesel Specialist in my area if i have anymore problems which are very competitive.
thanks for advice guys
