Default 406 hesitation and rough idle when warm

CAR IS FOR SALE ON EBAY - SELLER TTY567Y ENDS NOV 28TH 2011

So far the bill to try and solve a problem with this vehicle has amounted to over £700 and now the garages it ahs visited so far are of the opinion of “just live with it”, however, I want it right, that’s why I took it to them:
THE PROBLEM:
1) This vehicle idles badly, hunting when warm/hot to a very noticeable extent, not quite so noticeable and sometimes not at all when cold/first started. This problem has gotten worse over months and the more I have done to resolve it
2) When slowly accelerating (noticeable more in 2nd and 3rd gear) it splutters/hesitates between 1500 and 2000 rpm unless driven quickly passed that range
3) When driving in normal conditions and changing gear as normal, as the clutch is depressed and accelerator is released, the engine does not decrease in RPM, it either holds at present RPM or rises (typical of an air leak) – No car I have ever owned or driven has done this it then been proved to be normal
4) Occasional smell of fuel from breather pipe on EVAP canister behind o/s wing
5) THERE ARE NO CODES SHOWING WHEN CLEARED AND DRIVEN IN ALL SCENARIOS, FAST, SLOW, TRAFFIC, ON A RUN, IDLE, HIGH SPEED (70-90MPH)
IT HAS HAD:
1) Full service to include all filters, flush and oil, plugs etc
1) New coolant temp sensor
2) Used throttle body with ALL sensors ( X 2)
3) New throttle body gasket
4) MAP sensor
5) New inlet manifold gaskets and manifold inspected – no apparent cracks and carb cleaner makes no difference when sprayed around the engine, inlet manifold
6) EGR valve blanked off
7) New coil pack was tried to see if it helped and DID NOT so the old one was refitted
8) FORTE cleaner sucked through the intake manifold to clear sticking valves (no change)
9) Vacuum pipes inspected, no apparent damage

**UPDATE** Fitting injectors this week. Will update as to wether this solves the issue November 20th 2011
