406 2.2 HDi Air Con

Just had my air con recharged and was told that the fan (fans?) that blows the cooled air into the climate control system is not working; the garage found 12v at the fan.

Does anyone know of any easy to fix 'standard' faults with the fan?

Also,

Can the fan be replaced without breaking into the pressurised cooling system that I have just paid to have recharged?

And,

Where is the fan and how do I get to it?
