How do they figure it needs new injectors. What checks did they do?
For the cost you quoted there ie £300. That sounds very very cheap. Those injectors are probably £200 each!!

it runs great and plenty of power. but when you turn it off it won't start again untill it gets cold, we've had it on a diagnostic machine the result was no faults found. also had the injectors cheaked (pressure tested). from cold it starts fine, but a short trip to the shops it nearly flatens the battrey before it eventually starts.

any help is much appritiated.

Have you had a second opinion on the diagnostic?

If its still showing no fault then the problem must surely be a basic mechanical one?

One which is made worse with heat / warmth.

Is something expanding with the heat and blocking or restricting something perhaps?

Are the injectors good? £300 seems too cheap, even for recons.

What machines were used? Have you seen the fact there are no codes. It would be total guess work to identify the injectors based on nothing. Not to mention there are many places that will plug a car in and just take the money. Fault code diagnostics is not the only way to find a fault. You need to make the most of the live data readings from the ecu when the car wont start. I have experienced this with a renault espace DCI. Never kept the car long enough to check for the fault fully. The problem with it was it would loose pulse duration to the injectors upon cranking for ages and then would kick in.
