1.9dt hard to start when warm

Odd problem this . It starts as normal when it has been left overnight , then when you start it at any point in the day doesnt matter if it has been running only a few minutes before or a few hours before . It will most of the time turn over for 20-30 seconds before starting and I have no idea why . I have only had it for a few months and has always done this . Something is not right but I dont know what , It has a brand new battery and new glow plugs . sometimes it starts as it should but not very often , any help greatly appreciated. :? Anyone know where the temp sensor that works the glow plugs is ??? is it the same one that works the temp gauge????
