One here mainly for pug mechanics or auto electricians, went to change a o/s/r brake light bulb today well just ! unpluged connector popped out light cluster and low and behold the wiring loom connector and light cluster connector is corroded quite badly. have checked n/s loom and cluster everything fine. So my question is does this lead to a bad / poor fitting at manafacture ? had car 8 months 15 months old and first time ive had to change bulb. ? Can i hold peugeot responsible?
Also the brake light now does not work neither does the rear indicator o/s. advice to get prepared before going up dearler tomorrow.?.... Thanks guys. |

If it's affecting the function of the lights then it is a fault, and a warranty job.

Well thats what i thought it should be a warrenty issue, currently have no rear brake light and indicator. both front and side work but rapidly flash so i think maybe a relay ? or all linked.....?
ive checked the other loom etc light cluster and alls fine, so ill stand me ground then on this one should they try to fob it off. Cheers chopper. |
